Our largest fund raiser for the Anacortes Eagled is their annual Bar-B-Que. For the past 54 years the BBQ started out as a side event for a boat raffle and eventually turned into a two day affair and for the past many years has become a three day event. Where else can you see close to a ton of KING Salmon, 500 half Chicken and 1000 pounds of Country Pork Ribs being cooked over alder wood fires. Only in Anacortes the Third Weekend of August each year from 11:00am to 7:00pm (or till they run out!)
